Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the cross-functional, clinical-stage program
teams in the development of the Immunocore portfolio.
- Partner with Program Lead to drive cross-functional alignment
and delivery of assigned programs.
- Provide program management leadership by contributing to
project strategy & vision.
- Lead teams in the creation of comprehensive development
plans.
- Partner with all functional areas to build integrated program
strategy and timelines.
- Establish short and long-term goals and proactively identify
issues and/or risks.
- Coach project teams towards successful issue resolution and
decision making.
- Monitor deliverables and communicate program status to
stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and define action
items.
- Develop impactful presentations summarizing complex topics for
strategic planning.
- Ensure stakeholders are knowledgeable of program milestones and
plans.
- Lead the team through problem solving and decision
discussions.
- Uphold good program management best practices and
principles.
- Provide guidance regarding standards/templates to Program Lead
and project team.
- Ensure team deliverables, budgets, schedules, and performance
standards are met.
- Champion company program management methodologies and
practices.
- Assist in process improvements and other initiatives to improve
organizational effectiveness.Experience & Knowledge:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical
industry.
- Extensive knowledge of R&D drug development processes.
- Proficiency with MS Project and project management tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional relationship building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Delivery-focused mindset with a strong track record in a
relevant scientific discipline.Education & Qualifications:
- BS/BA level or higher in life science discipline or
equivalent.
- Desirable: Masters/PhD/PharmD/MBA in related discipline.
- Desirable: Formal project management training.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.
