Job Description BAE Systems is seeking MBSE Systems Engineer to
support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy
weapon system. Integrity, subject matter proficiency,
self-motivation, and the ability to work well independently and
with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate
to possess and demonstrate. This position is responsible for
performing technical planning, system integration, verification and
validation, and evaluating alternatives including cost, risk,
supportability, and analyses for total systems. Analyses are
performed at all levels of total system product to include concept,
design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance,
and disposal. Candidate is also responsible for ensuring the
logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into
total systems solutions as well as translating customer
requirements into hardware/software specifications. Candidate will
be responsible for performing system modeling and simulation
efforts and related MBSE tasking to include technical whitepapers,
presentations, stakeholder demos, etc. This position will also
involve contributing to community IPTs / Working Groups /
Communities of Practice. A limited amount of travel to off-site
locations could be required. About BAE Systems and the U.S. Navy's

U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) continually since the
program's inception in the 1950s. SSP developed the first
sea-based, underwater-launched Strategic Weapon System (SWS), a
defense system that is truly critical to our national security. For
more than six decades, SSP has maintained and upgraded this weapon
system and we have been there every step of the way. The sea-based
SWS is the ultimate stealthy weapon system and as the first leg of
the U.S. nuclear triad. With over 70% of our nation's nuclear

nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed submarine ever designed, as well the
next D5LE2 weapon system is under way and will begin to be rolled
