experienced low temperature physicists. As a member of a
multidisciplinary team, you will work on a variety of
low-temperature experiments, including construction of cryogenic
apparatuses, development of cryogenically cooled sensors, and
exploration of novel quantum systems. -We are a hardworking group

quantum technologies for the betterment of our national security.

Physicist:Your primary responsibility will be to develop creative,
independent research in support of existing efforts. In addition,
you will be encouraged to pursue new work in fields that is of
interest to you and APLs sponsors. These will make use of APLs
cryogenic user systems which include both a dry 1K and dry dilution
refrigerator systems. -Low temperature physicists support existing
programs through day-to-day operations of various cryogenic systems
and experiments. They supply high-quality ideas and insights into
both existing and future problems, leading to novel solutions
adaptable to APL and sponsor needs. -You will collaborate with a
diverse team of physicists, electrical engineers, materials
scientists, and fabrication technicians to develop innovative
device, sensor, system prototypes, new insights, and responsive
proposals.

APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation
may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work
experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level
with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees
scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will
be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer
bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or
contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in
the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality
allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

$90,000 Annually
Maximum Rate
$330,000 Annually
