DCPosition SummaryUnder direction process payroll including
balancing and reconciling all payroll figures.Primary
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll including balancing and reconciling
all payroll figures thru Costpoint and ADP Workforce Now
systems.
- Verify payroll, including entering any exceptions such as
overtime, personal time, sick time, vacation time, garnishes,
etc.
- Prepare reports as required.
- May prepare wire transfer request forms for all payrolls.
- Balance all yearend W-2 data, including gross wages, taxes,
941's.
- Answer payroll inquiries from a variety of sources including
employees, management, banks, governmental agencies, etc.
- May prepare journal entries as needed to book payroll to
general ledger.
- Coordinate with HR and Timekeeping on new hires, employee
changes, terminations, rate changes, etc. in Costpoint.
- Knowledge of proper taxation of employer/employee paid benefits
and ensuring calculations are compliant with local, state, and
federal tax laws.
- Experienced with Sarbanes-Oxley ensuring proper segregation of
duties taking place.
- Work involves sensitive and confidential information;
discretion is essential.
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values
and culture of the organization.
- Work with Timekeeping on exporting and importing files within
Costpoint system.
- Review and make necessary suggestions on improving the payroll
process and flow.
- Assist with writing up payroll narratives and procedures.
- Register and respond to tax notifications from Federal, State,
and local agencies.
- Manage payroll checklist, update manuals, and organize saved
payroll documentation.Years of Experience and Education Level
- 2+ years of related experience, High school diploma or
equivalent combination of education and experience.Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and ADP Workforce Now.
- Knowledge of payroll business procedures and principles.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws that pertain to the
payment of wages.Physical Requirements
- Lifting (up to 20 lbs.): up to 25% of time.
- Walking: up to 25% of time.
- Climbing, Bending, Standing, Stooping: up to 10% of time.
- Sitting: up to 75% of time.
- Travel: up to 10% of time.We offer a full spectrum of benefits

above. AAC works on a 9/80 compressed schedule whereby employees
work 80 hours in 2 weeks with every other Friday off.The salary
range of this position is $50,852.00 to $66,108.00.The salary range
and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of
potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful
applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement

the future. Actual base rate may vary depending on a variety of
factors including relevant experience, education, specialized/key
skills, certifications, departmental budgets, market demands,
geographic location, and other relevant, job-related
