Achievement Award.Job SummaryGW Hospital is seeking a Stem Cell
Transplant Data Manager to join our Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular
Therapy (SCT) Program. The Data Manager will play a vital role in
managing the collection, abstraction, reporting, and summarization
of data related to patients undergoing stem cell transplants and
cellular therapies. This position requires managing lifetime
follow-up data and preparing periodic and ad hoc reports as
required by regulatory agencies, third-party payers, physicians,
and researchers. This role supports the quality and regulatory
compliance of the Cellular Therapy Program and reports directly to
the Quality Manager of the Cellular Therapy Program.Key
Responsibilities:
- Collect, abstract, report, and summarize detailed demographic,
historical, outcome, and stem cell transplant data from various
internal and external sources for patients receiving stem cell
transplants and cellular therapies.
- Maintain lifetime follow-up data on each patient receiving a
stem cell transplant or cellular therapy within the SCT
Program.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of required data to
regulatory agencies, third-party payers, and internal/external
stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of periodic and ad hoc
reports, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, researchers, and other members of
the SCT Program to ensure data quality, accuracy, and
completeness.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting for quality improvement
initiatives and research projects related to stem cell transplant
and cellular therapy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
of the Cellular Therapy Program.Main Benefits:

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent
or health care related degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the laboratory or medical
field
- One to two years of directly related work experience
- Attains/maintains continuing education credits as required by
FACT and other accrediting agencies
- Intermediate keyboarding/data entry skills; intermediate skills
using Windows-based software (e.g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel,
Power Point and Crystal Reports)
- Ability to work independently with excellent organizational
skills and investigative/analytic skills with detail
orientation
- Knowledge of oncology hematology and cellular therapy (e.g.
bone marrow, stem cell, CAR-T) disease process, anatomy/physiology,
pathology, and medical terminology (Preferred)
- Experience reading and interpreting pathology reports, imaging
reports, molecular reports, and cytogenetics (Preferred)
- Very good understanding of hematology/oncology diseases, able
to understand lines of therapy and their responses (Preferred)About
